It was a very, very eventful weekend. I believe I am now officially an adult. Okay, well that's debatable but nevertheless, I must argue my point. My 4 wonderful aunts and muscle-laden boyfriend did me the wonderful favor of hauling my new washer and dryer into my humble abode over the weekend. It has been a non-stop laundry fest ever since that fateful Saturday. I think I'm on my 7th load right now. Sure, they're both at least 600 years old and the dryer has a bit of a funk to it, but overall they're perfect and perfectly suited for my simplistic lifestyle with my hairy and smelly animals. Usually I try to run errands, go to the gym, etc. after work but today I actually rushed home after work to do laundry! I know this feeling will fade as I get used to it but I am going to take advantage of it while I can and wash my entire apartment. If I could fit my carpet in there, I would! Thank you to all my wonderful aunts for all your help!!!
On another note, I received quite the honor today. I got an email requesting that I meet with a writer from the school paper to be interviewed. They actually want to do an article about me! Li'l ol' me? I'm not sure what I'll say. Maybe I'll talk about my new washer and dryer. Or maybe I'll replete the interviewer with stories of the wacky times of Levi and Sammy. No, I'm just kidding. All joking aside, I am quite honored to have the opportunity. I really do love being a librarian and I honestly like talking about it so it'll work out well.
Well, Levi's giving me that "look" that says either I let him out or I need to go grab the carpet cleaning spray. Better go...
